Approved Institution – Request to Change Business Particulars
1. Brief description of service
(a) The Approved Person (AP) or Authorised Affiliate (AA) of the following Approved Institution (AI) categories can use this service to change the AI’s business particulars1:
• Optical Shop2;
• Early Intervention Programme;
• Special Education; Assistive Technology Devices; and
• Insurance.
(b) Please have the following information ready when using this service:
• New particulars of your AI; and
• Supporting documents (if there is a change in Company Name, UEN, Institution Name and Institution Code)
(c) AIs from Childcare, Kindergarten, Healthcare and Pharmacy2 categories wishing to update their business particulars should do so with your respective Governing bodies. The new information will then be updated automatically in the AI Portal.
2. Estimated time
This service will take about 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
3. Maximum file size and acceptable file type
(a) Maximum file size for each file is capped at 2MB.
(b) The following file formats are accepted: .pdf, .jpeg
Note:
1AI which has taken over a centre/business should use the
AI Application service.
2Optical shops and retail pharmacies will be discontinued as Approved Institutions from 1 January 2026.
