Child Development Co-Savings (Baby Bonus) Scheme

Child Development Co-Savings (Baby Bonus) Scheme

Welcome to the Baby Bonus Online, a portal for parents to join the Baby Bonus Scheme and open a Child Development Account (CDA) with greater convenience.

Baby Bonus Scheme

Children bring joy to the family. To support couples in their decision to have more children, the Baby Bonus Scheme helps to lighten the financial costs of raising children. The Scheme is part of the Marriage and Parenthood Package and enhanced in Feb 2023 to provide parents with more support in their child's early years. The Scheme includes a Cash Gift and Child Development Account (CDA) benefits. The CDA benefits comprise the CDA First Step Grant which will be automatically credited after CDA opening and dollar-for-dollar Government co-matching for each dollar that parents deposit in the CDA, up to the co-matching cap.

The enhanced Baby Bonus benefits was announced on 14 Feb 2023.  For eligible Singaporean children born from 14 Feb 2023 until the date the changes are implemented in 2024, the eligible children will continue to enjoy the current benefits.  The enhancements to the Cash Gift will be disbursed from early 2024.  The enhancements to the CDA First Step Grant and CDA co-matching cap will be implemented from early 2024.  Parents will be notified when they can make the additional deposits into their child's CDA to enjoy the enhanced Government co-matching.
